Music Clinic's Peter Chen is great....simply great.... he's really friendly and helpful......it's my first vocal lessons with music clinic today, and the feeling and impression was good... i'm pretty glad that my first lesson was with him. and he's very professional and humourous.... the class size is also small, so it's easier to learn as we get more attention.
today he gave us all a personal evaluation for our singing standards.... it's very important to me....ha.....

school work is driving me crazy...projects and assignments....endless and so so demanding..... give me a break!!!... i need to pull through this....less than 6 months to go....

it's actually my first time i celebrate my birthday.....i'm happy that i don't have to go through my 18th birthday alone, like i always do for my birthdays... a big thank you to Alvin, Xanthus, Angie, Shirley, Carol and Si yu :) thanks for celebrating with me although i just got to know you guys... i won't forget this memorable birthday celebration i had..... thanks for the Small cake and the Big cake!!! that day i almost lost my voice singing with the stupid microphone....
a million thanks.... i don't know how to put my feelings into words....a thank you would be the best!!!
yeah...i've been awaiting for so long, finally my vocal lessons will start really soon.... first lesson will be on 26th july....i can't wait for it to start..... music clinic here i come....yeah....

just came back from HK a few days back. I miss hong kong badly, the people, place, shops and those stupid things i did. hong kong i had crazy fun man. from disturbing people, smoking in the campus, drinking in the campus and sneaking out to other places late in the night.
talking about sneaking out in the night. it was kind of exciting. the moment we got back to our rooms, in less than half an hour the whole of level 13 were almost empty. i got into a group to sneak out of the hostel. the group had me, shane, meilin, anqi, samantha, kenneth, jerald and some other people from the same level whose names i can't recall.
we decided that we leave the hostel in pairs. so shane and Mei lin left first followed by kenneth and samantha. the funniest part was that when i got down stairs i received news that shane and meilin got caught by teachers. i was like how the hell they got caught when it's already so late in the night. so i waited for all of them to come down to the meeting place we all agreed on. i was the first to reach there because some took their own sweet time or afraid to get caught.
in the end we left the hostel in 3 cabs, 15 people in total.
we went to lam kuai fung if it's not spelled wrongly. this place is basically similar to our clark quay or mhd sultan. but i feel that their nightlife are more happening than ours. the whole stretch are filled with partying people. and there are hell lot of americans that night. and we walked further down and i kept disturbing mei lin. we walk down a long slope and i came across this shop and i was like what the hell it's F.I.L !!! in case you are wondering what that is, it's actually another famous and expensive pretty high end label. i should have gone in the afternoon to buy somethings from that shop. sadly i had no chance to do that as it's a school trip.
after we were done walking around LKF we decided to head to ladies street. so we went looking for a cab and we found one, but the uncle refused to fetch us. then an american went to ask him and he too got rejected. angered by the fact that the cab in service light was on and he got rejected by the driver he started a scuffle with the driver. the man spoke english but not the hong kong cab driver, i could hear the man hurling vulgarities at the driver but the driver don't understand a shit i suppose. that man was asking the driver to fuck off if he's not interested in fetching people.
at first we were pretty interested in the fight and what will happen in the end. it kept dragging on and we got bored and left on another cab. actually i wished the cab driver would get beaten up by the man because it was seriously and obviously his fault. and i was guessing if the american man was drunk or high.
we headed for ladies street. but we were pretty late and almost all the shops were closed. so we decided to let mei lin have her dinner as she was complaining that she was hungry. we just randomly pick a small shop to eat in, which i kind of regretted entering. meilin, kenneth and rebecca ordered noodles and i ordered fries as i felt that the food were not clean. and sure enough, halfway through while we were eating, we saw cockroaches roaming around the kitchen table and near the plates and stuff. and it kind of freaked me out, luckily i was eating fries and not noodles. fries have lesser chance of getting in contact with roaches as it's frozen in the freezer. the shop owner was trying to show off his english to us, thinking that he's really cool and good at it. in actual fact we didn't understand a shit.
after eating we went to wander around that area. shane and i saw newspaper stand selling pornography megazines openly. and they carry a lot of different series. i was like what the hell.
we walked and walked until we were bored and tired. we took a cab back to hostel and took some rest before our flight back to singapore in a few hours.

this seminar seriously rocks because i was in hong kong without parents!!!
finally after weeks of waiting, i finally received my sponsorship for music clinic by Acuvue singapore after joining some online competition and i won.
in total they sponsored every winners a budget of $1500 and that is pretty impressive.
for me i chose to take up professional vocal trainings by reconised music school, music clinic
reason why i chose to take up vocal lessons is because they are expensive and i've always enjoyed singing. and i strongly believe that by singing a song one can relax and express his or her feelings effectively. music is a medicine to one's soul.
in total Acuvue sponsored me for two levels of vocal lessons namely basic, intermediate. there's 3 levels in total the last is advance.
just basic and intermediate alone would cost about $1200+ i feel damn lucky to be sponsored all i have to do now is to save for the advance level training and after that i'm done with vocal training.
music clinic is pretty famous for making aa few successful superstars i forgot who though.
my lessons will start on 26th july 2007, i can't wait for it to start.
